Hello! We’re InMotion — a passionate team of photographers, editors, and support staff dedicated to making your senior photo experience smooth, fun, and memorable.

From helping you feel confident in front of the camera to making sure your yearbook image is submitted on time, we’re here every step of the way — capturing moments that turn into lasting memories.

QUICK OVERVIEW

Your school has chosen InMotion as the official senior yearbook photographer. Only photos taken by us will be accepted in to your school yearbook.

You have 2 options:
– Free Yearbook Photo at our studio
– Or book one of 6 Premium Senior Session featuring more poses, backgrounds, and outdoor options.

Once you've taken your photos, you’ll select one image for the yearbook then that image is sent directly to your school.

Prints and digitals can be purchased after you've taken your photos.

SCHOOL YEARBOOK DEADLINE

Every school has a deadline for receiving senior photos so their yearbook team has time to design and submit the final pages on schedule.

If your school's deadline isn’t listed yet, it will likely fall between September and October, so book early to be safe

Clothing must cover from the armpit to the mid-thigh (front, back, and sides). Tops need straps

Yearbook Photo Options

Free Yearbook Headshot – $0

Limit 1 walk-in per senior

Plan for a 5-minute session (wait times in Sep/Oct can exceed 40+ mins)
1 outfit, waist-up only — no pets or props
1 grey backdrop, in-studio only
View 5 images in your online proofing gallery (no digitals included)
Choose 1 image for the yearbook (school dress code applies)
Some dates for Walk-in may be unavailable. Check our website regularly for updates.

How to Schedule

No appointment needed — just walk in Tue–Fri, 10am–5:30pm until your school’s deadline. Prints and digital images can be ordered later. Your school may also offer on-campus yearbook photos — details to come from them. Studio address: 211 S Montclair St Bakersfield, CA, 93309

Premium Senior Sessions

The free yearbook headshot gets you in the yearbook. A paid session gets you remembered.

What to Know Before You Book

⚠️ You cannot book after your school’s photo deadline.

💵 Session prices are sitting fees — they cover your photoshoot and the ability to select 1 image for your school’s yearbook.
💳 Full Payment is required to book your session.
📅 New time slots are released 30 days out
🖼 Digital images, prints and products can be ordered online or in studio after your gallery goes live.

Can I bring more outfits than what my session includes?

If you're booked for a Studio session, there's not enough time to change outfits.
Need 2 outfits? We recommend Studio Plus.
Want 3 outfits? Choose Studio Max — it's designed for more variety.

Keep in mind: the goal is to spend your session time taking great photos — not rushing through outfit changes.

Can I schedule a senior session if my school isn't contracted?

These sessions are reserved for seniors from schools we’re officially partnered with.
But good news: We offer Portrait Studio and Portrait Plus sessions for everyone else!
Portrait Studio & Portrait Plus sessions

Can I drop off my senior at the studio for their session?

Studio, Studio Plus, and Studio Max: Yes, drop-off is fine — unless it’s close to closing time. We may need to lock the studio, and your senior might have to wait outside for pickup.
City Life sessions: No. Full transportation is required — our photographers can't provide rides or allow students to ride along due to liability reasons.

When will I see my photos?

Photos are typically ready 2–3 weeks after your session.
Use the login info and QR code provided at your appointment to get notified when your gallery is ready.
While we do send reminders, we also encourage you to check back and log in on your own to ensure you don’t miss your deadline.

Can I reschedule my session?

Yes, as long as it's before your school’s photo deadline and there’s availability.
Contact us as soon as possible to request a change.

What if I miss my scheduled session?

Missed sessions are not automatically rescheduled. Please contact us to check availability and reschedule — additional fees may apply.

Will my yearbook photo be retouched?

If you booked a Premium Senior Session, yes — your yearbook image will be retouched.
If you did a Free Yearbook Photo, you can add retouching for $20 before your school's deadline.

What if I don’t like my photos?

We do our best to create an enjoyable experience and capture a variety of images. If you're unhappy with your gallery, please reach out — we’ll do our best to help within policy guidelines.

Can I order prints later?

Yes! You can order prints and digital images from your online gallery once your photos are ready. For specialty products such as Albums, Framed Prints, and Canvas Wall Art you can call the studio to schedule an appointment to come in to our studio.

Can I bring someone with me to my session?

Yes! You're welcome to bring a parent, friend, or sibling for support.
Just keep in mind that space in the studio is limited, so we ask that you bring no more than one guest into the photo area.
